The 4-Part Blueprint Every Failed Relationship Skipped

The 4-Part Blueprint Every Failed Relationship Skipped

You can fix a marriage and still miss the point.

I know how that sounds coming from someone who spent 3 episodes teaching on marriage, divorce, and separation. But here's what kept happening: people would do everything "right" — better communication, counseling, forgiveness, rebuilding — and still end up back in the same pattern.

Because the marriage was never actually the problem. It was just the room where the problem was living.

Why Most Relationship Advice Starts in the Wrong Place

Almost every conversation about relationships starts in the same place: What should a wife do? What should a husband do? Why is she so exhausted? Why won't he lead?

Those aren't bad questions. But they're the middle of the conversation — and building answers there means building on a foundation nobody ever actually examined.

Scripture doesn't start in the middle either. It starts with design.

The Question Underneath Every Other Question

Before you can ask what a wife should do, you have to ask what YHWH established when He made woman in the first place. Before you can ask what a husband should do, you have to ask what he was created to carry before a wife ever entered the picture.

Skip that question, and every answer about marriage gets built on assumption instead of design.

The Four-Part Architecture

This season of the podcast — and this blog — runs on one repeating framework:

Design — what YHWH established

Order — how what He established was arranged to function together

Distortion — what happened when that order was disrupted

Restoration — how YHWH brings what was distorted back into alignment

Distortion rarely looks like one dramatic collapse. More often it looks like Proverbs 24:30-31: a field left untended, "grown over with thorns," its wall "broken down" — not torn down in a single afternoon, but neglected one small season at a time until the ruin was undeniable.

Restoration isn't inventing a new way to live. It isn't modernizing the design or softening it into something more comfortable. Restoration is returning to what was established from the beginning — which means you have to actually know the design first, not assume it or inherit it secondhand from culture or tradition.

What This Isn't

Let me be direct about what this isn't, because the subject invites assumptions: this isn't men versus women. It isn't a marriage-bashing conversation, a women's-empowerment slogan, or a submission-only message either.

This is about design. Order. Stewardship. Distinction. Identity. Correspondence. Restoration.

Both men and women bear YHWH's image. Both can drift from what He designed. Both need to be restored to it. The real thing being opposed here isn't a person, and it isn't a sex — it's distortion itself, the slow, ordinary drift away from what YHWH established, dressed up as progress or "just how things are."

Where to Start

You're not being asked to defeat anyone. You're being asked to recognize the blueprint clearly enough to notice when something in your own life has quietly drifted from it.

That's what this new season of Divinely Reassigned is built to do — episode by episode, going back to the actual beginning instead of repairing symptoms in the middle.
